What The Garden Taught Me

September 28, 2026•1 min read

Lately, I've been noticing how much nature refuses to hurry.

The garden doesn't panic because summer is ending. The trees don't cling to every leaf. The flowers bloom when they're ready, then let go when their season is complete. And yet, we humans often do the opposite.

September arrives and suddenly we're supposed to be back at it, more organized, more productive and more focused.

But what if this season isn't asking you to do more?

What if it's asking you to notice what you've grown?

Take a moment this week to step outside without an agenda. Walk. Sit. Breathe. Look around you.

Ask yourself: What am I ready to carry forward? And what am I ready to let go of?

Nature often nudges us to remember something we've forgotten:

Embrace life as it unfolds.
